About The Rescue:
New
Zealand Chihuahua Rescue ("NZCR”), is a recently established registered
Charitable Trust (CC55119) based in Christchurch that operates throughout New
Zealand. The Trust was formed in late 2017 when a need for a "little dog”
rescue was established. Our trust has several aims including: to educate people on
the Chihuahua breed and rescue dogs generally; to receive in, or uplift as many
abused and neglected dogs as possible that require rehabilitation and rehoming;
to collect and rehome unclaimed Pound dogs
throughout New Zealand and provide facilities and resources to assist in the
control of unwanted Chihuahuas by de-sexing. We pride ourselves on remaining
non-judgmental and discreet for those concerned about their privacy."
